Startech Opens New Beijing Office
Startech
Global is pleased to announce the opening of their new Beijing office. Located in the world-class Zhongguancun Tower
along with Qualcomm, NTT, and Panasonic, Startech now has even more room to
grow.
Zhongguancun
(pronounced “Jong-guan-soon”) is a technology hub in northwestern Beijing
between the 3rd and 4th Ring Roads. It is known as the Silicon Valley of China, and
other neighbors include Baidu headquarters, Lenovo, Microsoft, Sun,
Siemens, and NEC.
Startech’s
new office can be found next door to high-end shopping, five large IT/electronics
malls, a bus transit center, and a new subway stop opening in May 2008, making
it an excellent location for employees and visitors alike. Startech is hosting an open house as well as
tours of the local area during the Olympic Games, and travelers are encouraged
to attend.
